Game Review (written by Trynes) Added on: 04/26/2007
After taking one look at the screen captures of Faery Tale Adventure I was totally taken back to when I used to play it on my Amiga as a child. Very atmospheric! It’s a great enemy alert!
Once upon a time, there lived three brothers in a small village in the land of Holm. The eldest brother, Julian, was bravest of the three. Phillip, the second brother, was lucky and clever. Gentle and kind was the youngest brother, Kevin. Their mission is to find a magic talisman that disappeared from the land of Holm.

Gentle and kind was the youngest brother, Kevin. Their mission is to find a magic talisman that disappeared from the land of Holm. This magic talisman kept evil spirits at bay and blessed their crops and now that the talisman has disappeared, their world is turned upside down. Skeletons and monsters are on the loose everywhere!

eight quests to complete, each with mini-adventures within them. The world map is huge. Very extensive with changing seasons and weather patterns the further you travel, nice to sight-see, and the colours are vibrant. The interface is easy to use and the soundtrack is great. The story isn’t that in-depth but it leaves plenty of room for imagination.
As for the game play, you can move up, down, left and right. Battle victory is determined by your physical stats and how they compare to your opponents. Make sure you look around at everything – anything could be a clue – or it could be nothing. And make sure you feed your character; otherwise they tell you repeatedly that they’re starving.
This game is great and exciting! I really love it! You need to play it! It’s worth downloading!

I played that nice game on my old Amiga500 over and over again. It was something big in '87. The Amiga graphic was of amazing quality. I cannot say what grab my attention so much . but I was addicted.
