This has to be one of the funniest games ever released for the Amiga. I remember being about 8 when it was released, and it caused quite a stir due to its colorful language and cartoon page 3 girls!
You manage a band of between 1 and 4 rock stars, each being a real life star given a funny twist to their name. You then have the job of promoting your band by gigging and publicity stunts, before releasing singles and an album. You can name the album and songs yourself, or take the suggestions of your assistants in game.

First off though you need
to practice to ensure your act is not boo's of stage. You will also need to keep your acts happy also, buying them gifts while making sure you don’t go bankrupt at the same time. You begin by gigging in pubs before making your way up to stadiums.
When you release singles and your album, you get a chart run down every Sunday. This is the part of the game where you see if your hard work is paying off!! The top 10 is shown in the traditional 10 - 1 method, and its quite exciting seeing if your act can break into the top of the charts.
I adore this game, mainly for its sheer fun quality, naming your band something really offensive then doing the same with each of the songs may be childish, but hey, its harmless and great fun. The graphics are very basic, but they do the job nicely. The soundtrack is fantastic, different tunes for each of the songs you record and in the charts, and nice SoundBits in game too. The publicity part of the game is downright hilarious also, with good publicity being anything from 'Rockstars life of crime' to 'Rockstar ate my wife' while if you are unlucky one of your rockstars will actually die in a plane crash and you will be a band member down!!
Its a great game that was years ahead of itself when released, and I would love to see a modern day version released now. The only drawback this game has is that the aim is to achieve three gold records from your album sales - this is however, impossible (as far as I know), as the game itself only lasts 12 months and then you have to start again. But for sheer fun, this game is certainly worth a try for anybody, great laughs and fantastic game play makes this a classic in my eyes!
