Shadow of the Beast 2 was the direct sequel to the original and picks up about where the first one left off. The premise of the game was about a flying beast that stole your baby sister out of your hut at night! Your mission was to try and find the lair of the beast and get back your baby!
It was a game with many different stages and was a very challenging game to play! It was very frustrating at times, and I only was able to complete the game as I found a cheat code.
The poke to give me unlimited life! There is no ability to continue if you die, so learn not to. That being said, however, Shadow of the Beast 2 reached almost cult acclaim for the guitar sequence that followed a death, and many a gamer would die on purpose just to hear it. Another very difficult portion of the game is the puzzles. Some only allow the gamer one attempt to solve them, and if the gamer failed, he had to start all over.
But saying this, it still didn’t guarantee you that you could complete the game! It was still very hard to do and there were still many things you had to do right to
be able to carry on with the journey of trying to find your baby.
At one part of the game you get attacked and you get taken underground and put in a cell with the guard watching over you. The bottle of whisky you picked up at the start of the game ends up being very handy as you offer the whisky to the guard that is watching over you in your cell. The guard takes the bottles of whisky, which he drinks and the sits down on the chair next too his table and then falls asleep. Once the guard is asleep you are then able to escape and carry onto the next stages. There are a lot of moments like this where inventory collection is very important, more so than in many other platform games.
The enemies are awesome. There are goblins and tree people, not to mention the dragon thing that stole your sister. You will also make friends with a good dragon.
Shadow Of The Beast 2 is a great game, and at the time had great graphics. It’s cool game! I really like it!
