Space ace made its appearance at the Amiga system as a direct conversion of the coin-op one after the great success of 'Dragon's Lair', a cartoonish, adventure like game designed to exploit the capabilities of a newly (back then) designed hardware. the cd-rom. Your purpose is to move your joystick to the right direction in order for the character to overcome and avoid any danger and proceed with the story. Although this may sound familiar. it isn't. The player has no overall controll of the character. As the story unfolds (like a cartoon movie) he can only execute the right combinations at the right time or else the hero suffers a fatal fate. This game is an absolute crap. Although the graphics and the animations are well made the gameplay and the controlling is SO furstrating you would like to smash your machine to little pieces after playing it for 5 minutes!
