UAE (Ubiquitous Amiga Emulator) is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. WinUAE is the windows port of this great tool and the most popular Amiga emulator available. IMPORTANT: In order to run games on an amiga emulator, you need to own a so called Kickstart ROM which is basically a boot-disk with the necessary files to run an amiga system. Since these Kickstart ROMs are still copywrited, they can't be published here for free. If you don't own a Kickstart ROM yet, you can buy a licensed version here for a fair price. This helps to keep the emulator scene alive. |
