Arcade games were quite popular in the 1980’s allowing Arkanoid to fit perfectly into the world. During this game you will take control of a panel that will float across the bottom of the screen capable of going left to right. There will be a ball bouncing towards your panel that you will want to hit before it goes past your panel and it will bounce back up and hit several bricks that are placed near the top of the screen.

There will be a ball bouncing towards your panel that you will want to hit before it goes past your panel and it will bounce back up and hit several bricks that are placed near the top of the screen. You will be required to get every single brick off of the screen to be able to continue on to the next level.
In the game there are many different types of bricks that will require being hit ranging from one time to four times
before they disappear. Several of these bricks may even contain special items that will assist you further into the game. One of these special items could expand your panel making it larger, you could get two panels instead of one, add more balls onto the gaming field, and some times you will get the chance to skip to the next level. The game does include a lot of special items, but to find these out you will just have to play the game for yourself.
There is a lot of unique design to each level. For every level the bricks will be displayed in various patterns. This allows the game to be endless with possibilities since the bricks can be placed generally anywhere in the game and become more difficult with every level you complete.
For the difficulty to change the use of bricks will change. When you get further into the game you will notice the placement of the bricks will be more scattered out and require many more hits to make them disappear. You will discover that when a brick is off on its own it is a lot more difficult to hit than a brick placed in a group of bricks.
Now many people are wondering how a game with such simplicity done to the whole aspect of the game would have astounding graphical design. Arkanoid does actually include a lot of thought when it comes to the design of the game. With there being so many levels each being unique that takes a lot of graphical changes to every single level. Even though it is just a bunch of bricks placed into various patterns, the design required a lot of thought.
Disappearing bricks and bouncing balls, you wouldn’t expect this to be an amusing game. Well, you were wrong. Arkanoid is a very addicting game with so much to offer. Special items, advanced patterns, and general game play make this game what it has become. When games are designed to be very simple, but have taken a lot to design you know the game is going to be fabulous. Arkanoid is one of the most highly addicting, extreme arcade games you will ever experience.
