Every young girl fell in love with the very popular Barbie doll over the years so of course Epyx designed a game to go along with the popularity of Barbie. The game was designed in 1984, which was when Barbie was quite popular in the world.
During the game you will be taking the role of Barbie doing several different tasks around town. You will be instructed by Ken to do several tasks throughout the day and have to be back in time to go on your romantic date with him.

Some of the tasks will include you doing some usual shopping errands, making sure you are dressed for your date, and of course be back in time for the date.
There is not too much to difficulty in the game, which makes it a great game for your young daughter who just loves Barbie. You have the ability to control your Barbie, driving around town taking on all those lovely tasks she wishes she could do herself. Once you have been instructed on the things you are needed to do by Ken you better get right on them since you don’t have too much time to complete everything.
For a game with very little plot to it you wouldn’t expected of it to be as much fun as it actually is. With the ability to run into other people while driving, not hurting them though, and going into shopping centers you know you will have fun.
The usual phone call that you will receive from Ken is the same thing every time, just with a little switch to the activity you will be doing after you’ve completed all your tasks in the given amount of time.
One great part of the game is where you can actually dress your Barbie up. You can make her wear some of the craziest outfits imaginable and of course be laughing hysterically while doing so.
Generally, this game has been designed to fit a young girl who is obsessed with Barbie. There isn’t much to the game that would have a very experienced gamer jumping for joy to play this game. The game is very interactive allowing any young mind to have lots of fun with their favourite toy as a child. If you weren’t into games that are designed around a young girls mind, then I would avoid this game. If you are one of the million people in the world who is completely obsessed with Barbie and want every single creation of this over popular character then Barbie would be perfect for you. So have some fun, get all dolled up and go on that spectacular date with your long time boyfriend.
