The Bard’s Tale: Tale of the Unknown is a fantasy adventure game that resembles Dungeons and Dragons overall game play as well as the Wizardry games. This game designed to be pretty straightforward with overall objective is for the player to earn experience and increase their characters skills through battles with several enemies and monsters. These battles will come up quite randomly throughout your travels.
When magic first came into play there was an evil wizard named Mangar the Dark, he began threatening a small little town called Skara Brae.

When magic first came into play there was an evil wizard named Mangar the Dark, he began threatening a small little town called Skara Brae. Tons of evil creatures began to take over the town, joining Mangar the Dark in his evil doings. All the surrounding towns of the city had been placed into an Eternal Winter making Skara Brae completely

isolated, unable to get any help. Once the town’s militiamen all disappear, there didn’t seem to be much of a future left for the town. Then this group of young Warriors, magic users, a few bards, and some rogues took on the task of saving the town from damnation. This is where the game begins and you start trying to save Skara Brae.
You will be traveling through a maze out dungeons, having to take part in puzzles and riddles, while finding and buying new weapons and amour. The battles have been displayed in more text then the actual battle scene, involving you to not even have to move your characters while in battles. You will earn cash and several experience points that you will earn during the game which will be separated between all of the characters that survived the battle when your encounters with the enemies have been won.
At the very beginning of the game you will begin to create your characters, being able to have up to six characters. You will get to select your characters class grade from the following class group: Bard; Hunter; Monk; Paladin; Rogue; Warrior; Magician and Conjurer.
Out of all the characters one of the most important characters would have to be the Bard. Bard has several magical songs which are long lasting spells which will assist your group of characters in several ways. One way that you will get assistance is by a spell strengthen your amour, or taking your attack speeds to the next level. Overall, the Bard is very useful for your own group.
The graphics have been done with a third dimensional perspective with a lot of detail done to not only the outdoor world of the game, but as well as the indoor. There is a large amount of color used in the designs and surely a lot of time and patience’s taken into the overall graphical design. The game is viewed in a first person perspective, allowing you to have a straightforward view of everything going on.
The Bard’s Tale: Tales of the Unknown is a phenomenal medieval fantasy game where you will be taking part in saving a city from many evil creatures. This game has been designed with a fair amount of adventurous surroundings and thrilling battles that will surely keep the player amused throughout the entire game play. With this game being complete role play, you will take part in many tasks that will all have a different reflect of the happenings of the game. If you’ve enjoyed fantasy adventures games before and are looking for a new more thrilling game to play, then The Bard’s Tale: Tales of the Unknown would definitely be a great selection for you.
