You will play the game in the view of top down and the characters will be seen in an upright position. When it comes to the game play in itself you would have to sneak past the guards, try impersonating the Nazi soldiers or even kill your opposing opponent if required. To complete this game you will be required to travel through many leaves locating plans and then escaping the castle without being caught by the guards.

At the very beginning of the game you will be given a gun and some bullets, which you have stolen,
from your roommate, which you have recently killed. The guards will have their attention towards you right off the bat, now attempting to capture you, even if that means shooting you. Since the guards are now looking for you, you are required now to run from the guards or kill the guards. Be careful which guard you are attempting to kill though. There are two versions of guards that have been used in this game. The first guard is a very standardized guard and then there is the SS Storm Troopers who are a higher knowledgeable guard. You will be able to tell the intelligence difference between the two guards, the standard guards are somewhat dim wits. If you get a hold of one of their uniforms they won’t be able to depict you as one of your own, but the SS Storm Troopers know right away that it is you. To kill the guards you will need to either use your gun or get a hold of some grenades, but killing the guards can be quite dangerous since they are all looking for you already.
When it comes to the killing of guards you are only able to do it in two ways, which are either using your hand gun which has a limited amount of bullets or your grenade which will set off all the guards’ attention and begin looking for you. When a guard dies you will hear a scream coming from them, which can be quite amusing. After you have killed enemies search the surrounding areas for bullets, keys, grenades, and even their bulletproof vests.
The game Castle Wolfenstein is a phenomenal game that has been created with a different kind of plot. Your main goal is to get out of the castle before the guards catch you. At the beginning you may find this game to be quite simple, but once you further along farther into the castle the game will become far more difficult and exciting. The graphics are also pretty general for the time of creation. Overall Castle Wolfenstein is a great game for any player if they enjoy running for their own freedom. The game is quite addicting and will have you playing it for long periods of time.
