Chuckie Egg

I couldn't believe my eyes when my most favourite game from childhood was available to download onto my brand new PC! The objective of the game is to direct your character (looks like a farmer to me) to collect golden eggs and in doing so you will complete the level and move on to the next - sounds easy however you must learn to quickly master the ladders and lifts and avoid certain holes. Greedy chickens are patrolling the very ground which you walk making it difficult to get to the eggs.

Bonuses are available in the shape of corn which again the greedy chickens patrol and also eat so you must move quick to grab the extra corns.
The quicker you complete the level the greater bonus you receive to boost your score and remain on the number one spot of the leader board, it’s sometimes beneficial to take a risk jumping over chickens rather than waiting for them to move out of the way. You need to finish each level as quick as possible to boost your score which in turn boosts the number of lives you receive and believe me you will need them as you continue!
As you progress through the levels each level becomes a little harder and once you have completed the first round of levels you start over again with what I call mother duck chasing you (the bird in the top left corner). Mother duck has a good knack of following you around every move you make and trapping you in difficult situations.
Unfortunately I haven't yet managed to complete the mother duck stage, however, I do recall from memory that once this stage is completed you start over again with mother duck and extra greedy chickens. The furthest I have ever been again recalling from memory would be mother duck and extra extra greedy chickens.
I'm not sure if the majority of people play this game with a joystick but I much prefer using the keyboard. At the start of the game by pressing the R button you can reset the keys to whichever you feel most comfortable. I have found ' = up, / = down, z = left, x = right, space bar = jump seem to work well and would recommend this.
You can also play with unlimited lives and speed up or slow down the game. I find the most fun way to play is without the unlimited lives and playing the game at a speed of 'just the way it should be played'. However, for entertainment value everyone should have a go at the super speed setting which I can guarantee seeing you falling down a hole within 5 seconds!
This game is so addictive and I can guarantee entertainment.
