Dino Eggs is a platform arcade game where you will be taking on the role of a time traveller called Time Master Tim. Your objective is going to be to collect dinosaur eggs while avoiding some obstacles that will come along your way. Some of the obstacles that you will encounter are snakes, spiders, and of course the mother dinosaur of the eggs you are collecting.

When it comes to the game play you will want to begin making a fire before you start collecting the eggs. The fire will assist in keeping the mother dinosaur away making it that she doesn’t crush you with her gigantic feet. You have to keep an eye on your fire while you are around attempting to
collect the eggs because it will start to wither away. As well as avoiding the mother dinosaur you will have to look out for the snakes and spiders. These two obstacles won’t kill you, but they will do damage to your life, which will eventually de-evolve you making you die. The mother dinosaur is the only one with the ability to kill you in one shot.
If you want to make the game very interesting you don’t have to build the fire, without the fire you will have the mother dinosaur on your trail very fast. She can become quite difficult to avoid since she is a lot bigger than you making it that she has the ability to catch you faster than you can run. This can be a very interesting and thrilling way to attempt the game.
The snakes will suddenly appear in the game making it very difficult to avoid them, but they will eventually disappear. To avoid the snakes you have the ability to jump over them, or you can drop a boulder on top of them to kill them. Some of the snakes are not too intelligent and will die on their own by crawling into the fire you’ve created.
The spiders will start at the top of the screen so you will be aware of their location from the start of the game. To avoid contact with the spiders you can just move around them left or right. Killing them is just as simple. You will be able to cut their spider web line that they are hanging on which will kill them. They will literally fall to their death.
At the beginning of every level there will be several dino eggs throughout the screen that you must collect. You only have the ability to collect up to three dino eggs at a time, meaning once you have collected three you must go back to the future and then go back to the past for more. There is a power up available throughout some of the levels that will allow you to carry more than the three eggs. When you are carrying eggs and have come into contact with the spider or snake the eggs will then be lost due to contamination, so it is best to avoid everything especially when you have eggs.
When you have been playing a level for a certain amount of time some of the eggs will begin to hatch. You will then have to rescue actual baby dinosaurs. There is the ability to put a force field around the dinosaurs by jumping over top of the dinosaurs and hitting the force field button. This will then transport the dinosaurs back to the future when you go back. You don’t want to come into contact with the baby dinosaurs though, this will also cause you to de-evolutionize until you go back to your transportation field. You will be able to collect up to three baby dinosaurs at a time as well.
The game allows you to leave a level at any time you want, but you will want to leave the level once you collect some of the dino eggs or all to get bonus points. Each level will increase in difficulty by placing more snakes and spiders throughout the levels and less sticks. Level nine has some additional features than the previous eight levels. With this level you will be required to build two fires instead of one to keep the mother dinosaur away, and the amount of points you receive will go to fifty instead of ten for every dino egg you collect. This level is one of the most difficult levels in the entire game, but also the most exciting.
Dino Eggs has been designed with four levels of platforms that you will get around using ladders. You will be able to climb up the ladders and jump down to the next platforms. The very bottom platform will not have any gaps in it, so there are no ways you can fall out of screen. If you go all the way to one side you will come out on the other side of the screen.
Overall the game has been designed with a strategic appeal. With the game increasing in difficulty each level you complete, the game stays exciting throughout the entire game play. Dino Eggs does have your standardized arcade graphical appeal, but the final design of the game is phenomenal. If you have found yourself enjoying arcade platform games in the past and are looking for something a little more challenging than previous platform games, then Dino Eggs would be a great recommendation. There is so much to this game that it is never ending in excitement.
