This is possibly one of the most important games ever!!!! This was shigeru miamoto’s first game design. And although it boasts the name donkey Kong, the real star is the man known as “jump man”, later he will be known as Super Mario.
There’s a construction worker who has a pet monkey and he mistreats him. The monkey gets pissed, steals the guys girlfriend, and climb the construction site scaffolding. As he climbs he shakes beams and girders loose. Jump man has to scale the four levels, dodging barrels, fire, and other hazards, to save his girlfriend Pauline.

The first level has just platforms and barrels. The second has conveyor belts that are carrying mortar, it really looks like pies. The third has bouncing
weights of death, and the fourth the player has to get to eight bolts and insecure them so donkey Kong falls.
When the game first came out in arcades, the makers of king Kong sued Nintendo for the term Kong used on a monkey, but Nintendo won the suit. Afterwards, donkey Kong went on to be a hit game and take the world be storm, ultimately helping Nintendo pave the way for super Mario brothers and the home consoles.
I love this game, as it is a classic. The graphics aren’t great, it was only the eighty’s people, but they get the job done. I do not think there any more arcade units so being able to play it again was wonderful. Trust me… it’s classic.
