Duck Tales: The Quest for Gold is a great adventure platform game. You will begin the game watching the character Flintheart Glomgold go into Scrooge McDuck’s office and challenge him to discover who has the most money in the world. You will then take the role of Scrooge and have thirty days total to collect as much treasure you can from all over the world. You will have the wonderful assistance from your nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie. Your means of travel will be with the Launch pad McQuack, which you will have the joy of piloting.

Throughout the game you will be travelling to various places, a lot of them being created from imagination. A lot of the names of the places sound familiar to real world places, and a few even were on the show. You must fly to these places in search of your treasures. While you are attempting your travels you will have the Beagle Boys trying to stop you by dropping random objects on top of you. If you do end up crashing you will loose money and a few days while Gyro Gearloose is repairing the plane.
When you begin your travels and reach some destinations there will be four different scenarios that could be waiting for you. Each one of the scenarios will generally relate to the environment you are currently located in. Many of the scenarios are played in a platform base where you will take the part of one of the nephews. Each one of the four scenarios varies in ways that make each one very unique to itself.
If you aren’t in the mood for travelling around the world then there are two other ways of collecting money. The first one would consist of you diving into your vault full of money attempting to find rare coins, or secondly take part in the stock market, which can be risky.
Once the game has hit the thirty-day mark you will find out which of the ducks has gained the most money and it will then determine who has won the game. Overall this game is quite simple and enjoyable for all ages. The controls are pretty basic making this nice and easy for the young gamers.
The graphics that have been used in the game are well illustrated and colourful. There has been a lot of detail done to the various locations that you go to, and everything is quite similar to the actual television show. Over all the graphics are phenomenal.
