Game Review (written by Rlevin2000) Added on: 02/21/2007
Early Games includes modules for matching the letters of the alphabet, which shows a screenshot of a letter of the alphabet. The child must select the proper letter. If the proper letter is selected, the game moves to another letter. If the wrong letter is selected, then the user must keep trying until reaching the right solution.
This game includes also a module for addition. Instead of numbers, simple color cubes are shown on the screen. If there are two cubes, to add two plus two, you will see two cubes, a plus sign and two other cubes. The user must type in the number 4 to move to the next question.
There is also an alphabet practice module. It starts with the letter “A” and on the screen appear the words "what letter comes next?". The user must type “B” to move forward. This continues on until the end of the alphabet.
It is a pleasure to use a program which reinforces the basic skills in game form. It is true, that today's children use computer almost from birth, and this game is the best way to give them some basic knowledge of alphabet, math, reading and entertain them at the same time.
I highly recommend it for any young children. You will find it easy to use.
