Game Review (written by Shengmai) Added on: 09/26/2006
An arcade style game and a good game like Mario brother where the player use the main character to jump onto enemies to kill them. To make things more interesting, Robocod can jump at extended height by pressing 'Up' key on enemies. The aim of this game is to save the penguins. At every level, there are boss monsters which you have to kill. Game lives are increased when certain items are collected or when a certain amount of scores is reached.

One thing nice about this game is that not all level has to be completed before you proceed to another. There are doors to each level which you can choose to enter or not. Of course, there are other doors which you must complete in order to advance making this game flexible. Every enemy behind each door is of different themes so most of the time you will not be killing the same monsters over and over again.
Other feature includes extending the body length of Robocod so that it can hang onto ceilings and moves. This game lacks of a save game feature which is a great drawback. The map area per level can be very huge in terms of height

and length but there are always vehicles which you (Robocod) can hop into and travel at fast speed knocking everything in its way to the end of a level.
At that PC era, this graphics is considered UP. Most of the graphics 2-D are cartoon-like graphics and are cheerfully colored). Music mostly not much sounds effect partly because Robocod does not use any weapon at all in this game. Good smooth cute game. all that u need in an arcade game minus the blood and violence which are normally found in others)
Conclusion: A must download for crazy dos arcade styles gamers. this game will keep u busy for a few hours hoping around find secret hidden levels or items until you find that a lack of save-game might force you to hit the uninstall button. Apart for this, this game is beautifully designed and is always worth a time to download and play. I had good memories playing this game when I was just a child. Cool game! Must - have.
