The scientists are becoming unable to control these machines that they have designed, and they continue to evolve, becoming even stronger on their own. As these machines evolved they started taking over the planet and then the humans began attempting to destroy these machines to prevent them from evolving further and becoming an all out threat. Now it is your turn to take a shot at these evil inventions.

that you will take control of to travel around trying to take back the planet again from the droids. Take part in the several different levels that have been included where you will be destroying many of these machines and then a boss at the end of each set of levels. As you progress further along into the levels you will discover how difficult they start to become. The machines will slowly understand your tactics making it even more difficult to dismantle these intelligent machines. You will destroy them by firing a plethora of weapons upon them in a classic arcade shooter type scene.
The amount of colours that have been included into the design of Katakis is amazing. Even though there isn’t too much included onto the backgrounds the amount of colour that has been used makes up for the lack of background design. For the game being designed in the 1980’s the graphical appeal that has been included is marvellous.
As you get further into each of the levels you will watch your scores become larger and larger. The faster you take over the planet the easier it will be. With the option to have another player take the game on with you the game can be a lot more uncomplicated with that extra assistance along the way. Katakis is one of the most popular games designed in the 1980’s and it is not surprising.
