This game is amazing, to sum it up. Pretty much any Mario game would be amazing in my opinion. The objective of this Mario game is to hit the ground above you (when there's an evil dude coming) to flip them over. Once you've flipped them over, you can then run up to them and kick 'em away. Just a note, to kick the evil dudes, all you need to do is run into them. The game has different levels, and with each level that you advance to, you face a different evil guy. I have a few Super Mario Bros. games, and the old Mario Bros. comes built in with it, so whenever I got stuck with Super Mario Bros. adventures, I would revert to Mario Bros. so I could smash some evil guys. The only bad thing about this game is that after a while, some of the evil dudes will change colors (which means that their speeds change). It is definitely harder to K.O. the guys when they are faster.
Also, if you buy an older version of the game, the graphics are pretty bad. Remember the old pixel graphics where Mario looked like an oddly shaped block? Sorry to say this, but, it's that kind of graphics for this game. Another hard thing about this game is that you only get three lives to start with. If you use up those three lives, it’s game over and back to the beginning. I got up to about Phase 17 when I used to play.
My favorite part of the game was hitting that big ol' POW button in the middle. I personally recommend that you guys get the new Mario and Luigi games for Nintendo DS. I mean, after a while, games just aren't interesting anymore, and that's what happened for me and this game. I would play it nonstop, but when I kept getting K.O.ed, I started to get bored. I would leave it for a few months and then come back to it. It would keep me busy for a while, but then the same thing happens again. I can't beat my record Phase, so I get frustrated and put it away. I must say that I liked the Super Mario Bros. games better, though. This game doesn't have the same controls, and you can't jump on the villains or throw fireballs, or even grow to Big Mario. There aren't any invincibility stars to use, either. This game is great for you old timers (just kidding, anyone can play it), so GET IT!

Mario Bros. the graphics are not great they are really bad. Almost everything is made out of tiny squares. It’s not even 3d it’s probably not even 2d. You can’t really blame anybody. People still didn’t know how they could do something like that. But what can you say that game is older than my grandmother. Technology wasn’t that important those days. Well at least not for game playing they probably didn’t know they would make a lot of money. At least you can tell what the tiny squares come out to be.
This game is quite fun after you really get into it. It’s also very difficult. It also gets boring if you play it for a long period of time. But who would play a game that has the same objective on every single level for a long time? The objective of the game is to flip the little turtle guys upside down. To do that you have to hit the pow button or hit the bottom of the level where the turtle is and it will flip over. But you are only able to use the pow button about three times. After; you won’t have any pows that’s when you have to flip them with your other option. Also you have to get them all before one gets on its feet again.
The turtles can kill you if they’re near you. And you only get three lives if you run out of lives its game over and you have to begin all over. The part I like is the hard part where you have to be fast, really fast. You have to have good reactions too. What I hate the most is that you can’t jump on them and kill them that only get you killed. And you don’t get powers like flame balls to throw; you don’t get mushrooms to grow, or get the star to run over them without getting killed.
One of the hardest things is probably preventing from getting killed. The first time I played this game was about 13 years ago. I remember this was the only game I played on my Nintendo. I thought this game was the best game ever invented. I said that no other game I played could replace this game. But it was after two and a half year, but I still play it once in a while on the internet but it doesn’t grab my attention as much as it used to.
Now that I play it, it seems like the easiest game ever invented! I still play this game once in a while on the internet but it doesn't grab my attention any more!
