Game Review (written by Evreneryilmaz) Added on: 12/17/2006
This is my all time favorite game. I remember good old days that I used to play this game with my friends when I was a kid. It was a great Friday night game. The graphics are awesome. The story is cheesy. You try to save you family from an evil corporation. Game-play is simple. Shoot everything that moves. In the game, you can buy various weapons such as flame thrower. There are also a variety of special weapons that can become very handy when you are surrounded with enemies.
Enemies can come from your front or your back. In addition, you can buy extra life at special points.
You buy weapons or extra life by collecting keys during the level. You character can hold a specific amount of keys. So you can not collect more than a specific number of keys.
The game composed of several levels and there is a boss at the end of each level. The first boss is a tank and it ie the easiest boss in the game. Each boss has a certain attack style. If you memorize the pattern they are not difficult to defeat.
The only bad thing that I can say for this game is "short" I wish it had more levels. I also wished that the developer,

Ocean, made a second version of the game. I believe that this game is the continuation of ikari warriors.
I recommend it to everyone who loves action games. The Amiga version has better graphics compared to the pc version. There is also a spectrum version. I believe that it is an earlier version of the game. Although the story is the same, graphics look pretty outdated. If you play it with WinUAE you can save the game wherever you want. So it is easier to play it on WInUAE. You should use a good game pad when you play this game. I remember the days that I broke joysticks when playing this game with my Amiga 500. I would highly recommend you to play this game with a friend. It is a lot of fun.
There are cheat codes for this game. But I personally do not think that it is a good idea to finish this game by using GOD mode because it is already a short game. I remember my friends complaining about the difficulty of it, but once you get used to patterns that enemies follow, it is not very difficult.
I hope someone will make a new version of this game by using a good engine.

Join the resistance fighters against the awesome powers of King Crimson - the manic scientist, and his Crimson Corps. 9 Levels of intense mayhem. Conversion of the Data East arcade machine. Multiple weapon scrolling character shoot-em up. Amiga featured two player simultaneous play.
