Throughout the game you will be given four different choices that would make it that you complete the game. The first choice would be where you are attempting to become one of the best oil companies in a three-year period. Then there
is the choice of trying to get a capital of more than sixty million dollars, or you could attempt to take out all your opponents being another way to defeat the game. The last way to complete the game would be to get at least eighty percent of your market shares. Each one of these choices is more difficult than the next, so depending on how difficult you would prefer this game to be the wiser the choice you should make.
There is a lot of strategic thought that is required throughout the entire game play. Depending on which level you select to try completing the different the tasks to be. Once you’ve determined which one of the four accomplishments you would like to take part in then you will be able to decide your strategic plan for most of the game you will take part in. Try remembering though expects the unexpected.
There are numerous unexpected events throughout the entire game. With the addition of special events you are required to take control of you must be aware of everything going on around your oil company. It is best to keep some very handy men hired on just in case there is an oil fire or any other dangerous occurrences. You do have the ability to try taking care of these things yourself, but it can be quite difficult and could result in the termination of your oil company. There is so much realism when it comes to these parts that it can be very risky to do things on your own. Attempting the drilling may be far easier than putting out one of those very nasty fires.
One of the main special events that you will take part in is the supplement of oil. You will be on a contract to deliver a certain amount to the customer by a certain time or you will be penalized.
There is an added multiplayer mode, which allows you to compete against other people, which allow you to further along in the game a lot faster than you would when competing a computer-generated player. In multiplayer mode you will need to strategize far better and faster. There is still a vast selection of options to go through and many of the same features as you would get in single player mode. In multiplayer mode the game will be a lot more difficult, but this is great for getting better at the game and determining what are better tactics than others.
Oil Imperium is a phenomenal game when it comes to the graphics. There has been a large amount of detail done to every single screen and backgrounds. With the great graphical appeal along side the awesome game itself, Oil Imperium has become one of the best managerial simulations available for game play. If you have enjoyed the vast managerial simulations in the past, you should try this game out as well. You may find it more difficult than previous ones you’ve attempted, but this game is so addicting it won’t matter what so ever.
