Paradroid is an action sci-fi shooter game-taking place on a spaceship. There are several rooms and levels amongst the ship that has been taken over by droids. You will take control of a droid yourself, but a special one known as the influence device. You have to use your droid to destroy all the other droids throughout your ship. There is a circle that has a three-digit number placed inside of it that is displaying that droids power level. The higher the numbers the more difficult that droid is going to be.

The way that you will destroy the droids is by linking up with them, which will take over their systems. Once you go and take control of another droid the one you are currently connected to will
be destroyed. This is definitely an interesting way to destroy droids, but beneficial.
Taking over droids isn’t as easy as it sounds though. You will have to take part in a mini game testing your mind. There will be one screen divided into two that has a series of logic gates and a few circuits that have been placed together. You will then attempt to power up more circuits then the droid to complete the mini game. If you are unable to beat the droid he will then be placed back in the game just like yourself. You will be killed if you do not have control of another droid at the time, so be careful who you pick your matches with when you have no droids attached to you.
When you have control over a droid you will be able to use all the items that they currently have, so if they do have a weapon you will be able to shoot other droids instead of doing mini games. If the droid is a higher level it may take a few shots and they are even able to fire back if they have a weapon, so you will still have to look out. The downside to the control of a droid is that you are only able to do it for a certain period of time, which depends on how high their number is. Once the time has run out you will become the influence device again.
Overall the game isn’t too difficult depending on whom you are attempting to take over. The higher in levels you get with droids though the easier it will be to defeat other droids. After a lot of play and time you will soon be defeating the game. To defeat the game all you have to do is destroy every single droid that has invaded your ship.
The graphical design of the game is a pretty good. Everything has been done with a 3D interface.
Paradroid is definitely a unique action game that requires a large amount of strategic thought. This game is one of a kind by far. If you do love sci-fi action games then this game definitely well deserving a spot on your system. There have been many remakes of this game so ensure you get Paradroid, it is the most enjoyable and phenomenally exciting. I highly recommend downloading it!
