Game Review (written by Chrissi) Added on: 12/30/2007
Fantasy RPG games are full of adventurous possibilities that will have any gamer hooked for many years to come. One great fantasy RPG game would have to be Questron. In this game you will be taking on the role of a serf who is attempting to get a reputation. To do this you will be travelling through a realm trying to gain power and experience that are necessary to take on defeat on the ruler in the Land of Evil.
The game has been designed to have a feel of two games in one.
This allows your character to gain intelligence in several ways while still taking on one game. During the game you will be able to go into various casinos that have been spread out through the towns where you will be able to go and gamble. A few of the games that you could play are Roulette, Blackjack, or Double or nothing. Be careful not to loose all your money though or you will not be able to buy any supplies to keep yourself going.
During your travels you will encounter various monsters and foes. Some will be quite difficult to defeat because they are immune to your weapon of choice. Others will be quite simple to defeat as well because they could

be very vulnerable to a certain weapon. There is always the chance that you will have to switch your weapon of choice to take on a certain enemy. There is the option to use magical spells when you are in the land of the dungeons. This can be quite exciting to see what will happen to the enemy you are competing.
The game has been viewed in a top down viewpoint when you are traveling around the maps and in the towns. The view will switch when you have come to the dungeons in the Land of Evil. This view will then become a third dimensional first person viewpoint allowing you to get a better perspective of the occurrences in your surroundings. The graphical design and game play are quite simple, but generally exciting no matter what.
Overall, Questron is a superb game. There are many different situations that you can place yourself into, but be wise on your decisions. If you make the choice to rob the merchants in the towns beware of the guards, so try your luck at gambling you never know where it will take you. You will always be in need of money for your survivals, or you won’t be able to purchase food. Even though you can go hunt, they may not all be able to be eaten so you will have to travel to the next town to sell them so keep enough money to keep food in your belly or you may have that treacherous thing known as starvation.
