This is a rather interesting game. If you have a little free time on your hands, you have come to the right place. Maybe Racing Destruction Set is for you. If you’re expecting nice expensive cars and amazing tracks this is not what this is all about. Racing Destruction Set has much more to offer. Yes maybe the graphics aren’t the best, but I still enjoyed every minute of it. But who cares when you have way better handling, and you can build your own track.

Yes maybe the graphics aren’t the best, but I still enjoyed every minute of it. But who cares when you have way better handling, and you can build your own track. That’s right I said it you can customize your track how you want it. If you’re a good racer maybe you want to make it a little more difficult for a challenge, or if you’re
not so good, make your track a little easier the way you want. You can also put in different sorts of ramps, and different hills of some sort. You can pick the different types of ground you would like to race on such as putting some slippery ice in there, or maybe some rough sandy spots for more of a challenge. Whatever the case may be they got it.
One or two players, using the joystick to maneuver the cars around the track, can play it. Player one controls the red car on the top of the screen, and player two controls the bottom screen using the yellow car. There are many other cars to choose from like the Stock car, Can-Am sports car, jeep, or maybe you don’t want a car. You can also choose from a dirt bike, street bike or pickup etc. There are two different ways you can play this game. One way using the racing mode which means you pick the amount of laps you want to do and 1st one done the quickest wins. The second way using the destruction mode you use things such as landmines, and oil slicks to take out your opponent by attaching them to the back of vehicles. Whichever way you chose, doesn’t matter it will still be a race you won’t forget.
Now like I said the graphics aren’t the best but what do you expect for a 1985 commodore game. This doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy playing the game. Looks can be deceiving. This game shows the realistic of a real off road racing, never knowing what to expect. I will have to say for many of the racing games out there this is one that really sticks out to me and I would definitely like to play it again. So whenever you want just try it out and see for yourself that this is an amazing game.
