River Raid is a great air combat shooter game where you will be taking the control of an airplane. You will be taking part in air combat against your enemies trying to shoot down the planes, helicopters, and ships. If you discover that your plane is running out of fuel, all you will have to do is fly above a fueling station and you will be refueled.
As the player you will have the complete control over the plane.
You have the ability to go from side to side as well as control the speed of your plane. You will be traveling over a river that has been marked with various bridges. The bridges are very vital points for your enemies, so as you are flying try to take out as many bridges that you can.
The further along in the game you get the harder it will become. Enemy units who are attempting to take you out are guarding the entire river. As you travel further down the river the amount of enemy units will increase making the game more difficult. Try you’re hardest to do maneuvers and avoid enemy fire or you will loose.
The level of difficulty that
goes along with this game can be quite difficult to start off. If you haven’t played air simulation games in the past you may want to practice a few times with the air plane flight controls so you aren’t getting frustrated and quit.
