Summer Games II is a sports simulation that is the Summer Games sequel. In this game you will be competing in various sports, trying to get medals and gain a high score. With this game you will have the option to play up to eight other people, competing against one another.
The game has eight Olympic events that are featured in the game. With these events you will be competing against other opponents in attempt to get the most gold medals as possible. Some of the events that are available in this game consist of rowing, the javelin throw, equestrian sports, and many more exciting games.
Just like the previous versions of the game, you will still have the option to take part in several events, one event, or just practice the events. With these options you will be able to compete at the level you feel you are capable and stick to the events that you are more comfortable with.
The game is not too difficult to play. You will find some events are a bit harder to get the hang of than others, but this normally varies on the amount of controls that you will require the use of. As you get playing this game more and more every event will become a little simpler allowing you to attain more golds. With the main aspect
of the game trying to get the most gold medals, you will require a lot of practice and take your time at learning. You don’t want to rush this game if you are in it for the win. Since each game has different controls, there really is a lot to learn.
The graphics are similar to the previous version, just with a bit more graphical detail to it. The game does have superb graphics for the year of creation that does make this game very appealing. With this game being a sequel, there has to be a few changes to make it differ. Changing the events you participate in and the graphics just the slightest make this game more different than one would expect. Obviously, the change in the events is the greatest difference and improvement.
Overall Summer Games II has been a great sequel. Most wouldn’t expect a game based on Olympic type sports to be able to be made more than once, but with the addition of several new events to participate in, the game is just as popular as the first. With the ability to compete against friends, you will find yourself becoming very competitive and will really get into the game itself. The game has been designed phenomenally and should be played by anyone who loves to try sport events that they would never attempt in real life. Summer Games II is definitely worth your time and you should test it out, numerous times!
