Game Review (written by Massaki) Added on: 12/10/2006
Remember Revolution X or Chiller? Well this game brings back all the memories!
Graphics:
While not as great as the arcades graphics Terminator 2 is still a great arcade shooter. Every model is very detailed to make the gamer feel like he/she is actually in the adventure. The second level gives you the ability to shoot off the Terminator prototypes limbs with blood everywhere! So to sum up in the graphics I give it a 7 for a classic yet Great Game!
Sound:
This may be surprising but the sound is actually great in this game. Sometimes it may be muffled but you can still hear what's going on. Also at the end of chapters and such you can hear the Terminator saying some of his catchphrases "I'll Be Back" or "Terminated". The Gun sounds and rockets sound almost real. Sometimes you just wanna fire a rocket just to hear the sound.
Gameplay:
Terminator 2: Judgement Day is yet again a fun game but after a while you can get bored. Some of the missions feel repetitive because most of the time you’re either blowing stuff up or shooting some robots. But if you're a big fan of rail shooters such as "The House Of The dead" or "Time Crisis" then you could probably find this game rather fun.
Overall:
Terminator 2 for the Commodore is not a great conversion from the arcades but it's certainly worth a try!
I give this game a rating of a 6/10
