The game has been designed to be a platform format game. The game may not come off as a platform game due to the fact that everything has been designed with great amount of detail, but overall it is a platform game just with an extra touch to the graphics.
The backgrounds that are included into the game are good. The monsters could have had a little more detail done to them, but you know what they are so it’s not too necessary. The sound that has been included is very catchy background music. You will hear a theme song playing throughout most of the game with some added sounds for certain things you do.
The Great Giana Sisters is definitely exciting and a very challenging game to take your chances on. With all the hidden places and items throughout the game you never know what to expect next. Every level is quite unique which another great bonus of the game is. Overall, the game deserves the best ratings any game could ever manage to get. The game is a true classic, even though it didn’t get to see the shelves for more then a day. Surely The Great Giana Sisters is a definite must for any action adventure gamer out in the world today.
