Game Review (written by Mykaeldeleon) Added on: 03/31/2009 4Play is an adult party game. It is best described using the phrase "Strip Monopoly". There is no single player version, no CPU opponents. It supports between 2 to 6 players who can be specified as being either Male or Female. In the initial setup of the game you can also designate such factors as the clothes worn by each player, each player's sexual preference, and specify certain sexual activities that a particular player will or will not do. The game has 4 levels of play, ranging from Mild to Very Kinky which can be set on an individual player level depending on the people involved.
Once your initial options are set, the game begins. Anyone who has played Monopoly even once in their lives will recognize the basic board design, from the various properties that can be purchased along the way, to the GO square which nets you an additional $200 when you pass. The differences, however, are startling. For example, when you land on a property owned by somebody else, you may choose to either Pay the required rent(as we're used to from Monopoly), or Play. If Play is chosen an activity is chosen at random from the options available to the game, taking into account each person's selected preferences. These activities could be as simple as removing a piece of clothing, to giving another person a kiss, to a full-out sexual encounter. The idea is that, as an adult party game, the people named in the activity must carry out the activity in person before play continues.
The concept of this game has been around forever, Strip Poker, Porno Password, Nude Charades, and any other of a number of adult party games thought up by sexually active people who wanted a way to share their favorite activity with their friends. In execution I felt that this game was a little lacking, even with 6 players, 3 male and 3 female, with a wide variety of options selected for each, the activities seemed disposed to repeat themselves. The activities themselves are certainly explicit enough for even the most open-minded of people.
One neat feature of the game is the Edit option. This allows you to make your own Activity Cards. You can either edit the existing cards to your own preferences, or add new ones to the ones that are already there. You select various options to specify the conditions that need to be met for that particular card to come up, then enter the text of the card which gives the directions for that activity.
As a computer game I would give this game a mere 2 out of 5. But as an adult party game this one really does blow all the others out of the water, and on that scale I would have to give this a 4+ out of 5.
