Game Review (written by Egor_ro) Added on: 08/21/2008 Let's get it right from the start. Real Girls Strip poker is not a game, it is a demo (at least the downloadable version from this site is.) This demo allows only one available girl, her name is Hollie. Before playing, you can hear Hollie talk when you click on her picture, and click on the arrow located top left of her portrait to play her. Hollie is busty, with short blonde hair, and a somewhat deep, husky voice (which some may find sexy.)
Gameplay is very similar to other games of the strip poker variety. You receive your cards, bet a little, throw away your unwanted cards in return for new ones, bet again and the winner receives the 'pot'. You can only bet in increments of 1, 5, or 10 dollars. When you win one hundred dollars from the player, she then sells a piece of her clothing for a further one hundred dollars. This demo only allows you to win one piece of clothing from Hollie, and then asks you to pay for the game. The full version allows full stripping of the opponent, and access to the other three female opponents. I found the game to be a bit better than the average strip poker game in that the game is somewhat interactive. The opponent will talk to you through the game, telling you how much money she is betting, whether she if betting, holding, or folding. You can also choose one of three icons to 'interact' with you opponent. These consist of a pair of hands, a mouth with a tongue sticking out, and a glass of beer. The only one available in this demo is the pair of hands. Click on them, then on parts of your opponent and you will get a response from her. The graphics are fairly decent, considering they are moving characters rather than a still high-resolution picture.
The voice over responses (for Hollie at least) generally sounded 'genuine', but were a bit mechanical at times. The computer AI is nothing flash, pretty similar to other computer poker games I've played - you opponent bets small amounts or nothing when she has a poor hand, bets modest sums when has a decent hand, and will bet fairly heavily when she has a good hand. I didn't play long enough to see whether or not she will bluff, or fall for a bluff. But from what I could tell, she will keep on betting if you do, but if she has a weak hand, she will bet in small amounts.
