V.G. stands for Variable Geo. However, don't mistake this as being short for variable geometry. So don't expect to see swinging wing fighter jets or meshes that turn into fighter jets. Variable Geo Max, like the other games in the series, is an anime fighting game. Like Dead or Alive, the Variable Geo series features a cast of all female characters. This is quite a bit different from common fighting games like Street Fighter or Mortal Combat, which have mostly male characters. However it features hentai scenes. Since then I have downloaded the ROM of Super Variable Geo for my Super Nintendo emulator, and it doesn’t have hentai scenes, so I have kept that version of the game. Now getting back to the topic of Variable Geo Max, it stands out as different from all of the other Variable Geo games in a very important way.
All of the characters have one important feature in common. That feature is that they are all of the SD style. SD stands for super deformed. This is a style where the characters heads are about as big as their torso. This style is also known as chibi which is the Japanese word for small. That is because this proportion is closer to that of small children than it is adults. This style is a used in sub genera of anime known as SD. It also appears in certain scenes or certain characters in other anime shows for effect. One good example is Chibi Usa in Sailor Moon. However entire shows sometimes use this style. One example is SD Gundam, in which all of the meshes are in the chibi style. As for Variable Geo Max, I would like it except for the hentai scenes.
I like this game. It’s very interesting and exciting. Download it.
