7 Days A Skeptic is the sequel to 5 Days A Stranger, and is in my opinion just as good as the original. The game starts out on a refurnished space ship thousands of years in the future, where a metal locker is found with the Defoe name on it. This game has fairly good graphics for the year, and its puzzles are quite unique.
In this game you play the ship's psychologist, and at first you do not have very many tasks, but that soon changes.

The sound is okay, I didn't really listen
to it a lot, but the footstep sounds are neat. This is a fairly quick game to finish, but some of the puzzles are a bit difficult to solve, this is one game where I really appreciated the walkthrough!!
This game is definitely not a great game for children, I personally would not want my child to play it, as it gets very gory at times (people are found dead, and pieces of bodies are strewn around). I found the game very interesting in the fact that you have a murder mystery in a final frontier of space exploration setting.
The original 5 Days A Stranger is set in the old Defoe mansion, and in it 5 or 6 people are stuck in the mansion, and people start dying off mysteriously, in that sense this game follows the same type of play, except in a different setting.
Each of the characters has a neat personality, and interacts with you in their own way, near the first of the game, you can ask the ship's captain about each of the other characters personality's and why they are the way they are. The crew for the most part gets annoyed by asking them continually "How are you feeling?" but then again, you are the psychologist!!
All in all, I really enjoyed this game, I also really enjoyed 5 Days A Stranger, and if you enjoyed 5 Days A Stranger, then you will more than likely enjoy 7 Days A Skeptic. The only things I didn't like about this game, was the pixelization in the graphics, and the fact that if you don't save frequently you will have to start the game over. I forgot to save my first game, and I got quite far into it, and then had to start at the first!! Give it a try, it is a fun game!
