Oh my god, I have played this game for years, and it is still awesome. Seeing Ace Ventura: the movie and then playing this game is good fun. The game doesn’t get boring and it is always new and challenging. It is a well thought out game, not like some other silly games, this one is just always good. It is also really funny. I found the movie really funny, I mean Mr. Carrey is great, but this game is just as good, if not better.
I think any kid who has seen the movie should at least try this game, because they would find it fun. I think if you liked the movie then this game would always be a favourite of yours. Yes YOURS. Seriously it takes the movie to another level. It’s just so so so so so funny and fun and surprisingly challenging throughout the whole game.
When my sister first saw me playing this game she said to me "oh that game looks stupid." so I told her to try it and now she loves it. Now it’s like she loves it more than me, she is always playing it and I think that just shows how popular
this game is. She has seen the movie, but doesn’t really like it as much as I do, but she really likes to play the game. She says she likes all the colourful scenes and she finds it funny. Which, I think most people especially kids and people who have watched the movie would think of it. If you found the movie funny then the game would fit your sense of humour too.
And even if you didn’t like the humour in the movie or you think it’s not appropriate for your kids (not that I have any but still) you can change the language. Even though this is pretty lame, it is still a good idea for parents who want their kids to have fun, but not to be behaving badly. I mean its not like the game have heaps and heaps of course language, but still no parent wants their child misbehaving, I mean there supposed to be little angles, aren’t they?
But with the changes you can make to the language, its fine, really there is no problem, they can just enjoy the game, as most people would and their parents can have peace of mind, knowing that their child isn’t playing or hearing a rude game. Overall I rate Ace Ventura very highly and would say it is one of my top 5 favourite games EVER! Score out of 5 I would say 4.
