Superheroes this days are hard to come by. Heck, what's more, most of the cooler ones have been killed off outside of comic continuities in the form of movies that really mess around too much with stories established and so well known inside of comics.
However, when someone decides not to muck around with a famous superhero but make fun of them, the results are a lot more satisfying and very humorous.
What's more, why not parody Batman? The character is a tragic hero, has a dark personality, and is a pretty well versed martial artist.

The Adventures of Fatman places you in the role of Fatman, a hero, who by now you must've figured
out from the name, is well... fat. But don't let this bring you down! You get to fight a pretty cool villain who...well....apparently doesn't have any superpowers despite being involved in an accident involving toxic waste.
The misadventures of Fatman as he battles his toxic nemesis are often very hilarious and often involve a lot of clever thinking in order to progress further. Infiltrating a bar often housing teenagers who are avid fans of punk rock, delivering pizzas, even having to outsmart your way past an officer who doesn't seem to appreciate Fatman's heroics. This is stuff you certainly won't see Batman normally doing... though, you must admit, the mental image by itself is quite funny.
The game's story is at a relatively medium length, which is quite satisfying seeing as though a game this entertaining should not be over so quickly. The story also features some very hilarious cutscenes and wacky characters to boot. Some are good, some are bad, but that still doesn't change the fact that they are very wacky none the less.
It's quite refreshing to know that it is still possible to make fun of the seriousness of comics through things such as this game. The Adventures of Fatman is indeed quite a fun parody of one of DC comic's most famous crusader of the night. I myself found myself wanting to play it over again (and I did by the way.) In any case, I hope you enjoy this game as much as I did.
