Legend Entertainment brings you Death Gate that really takes PC gamers back to that time when we were enthusiastic to carry out an adventurous task with a journey, battles and magic.
Adventure games such as Death Gate share a common trait with another game such as Shannara not only in its navigational skills and action commands, but also in sound effects and music. But what differs between these two games is that Death Gate requires the player to use magic by graphically tracing a pattern of lines in order to cast a desired spell that come in handy along the game.

Unlike most other adventure games, Death Gate creates a shortcut in navigation commands by taking you right to the desired area by just the
click of the directional buttons that show you available paths that open up for the player rather than waiting for your character to walk up to the next screen. The fact that the player is able to cast specific magic spells in the game by a pattern that needs to be learned enlightens the player to learn more spells along the game.
Death Gate truly captivates PC gamers with exceptional artwork and good image quality in background and animation. The voice acting in the game is also good when conversing with a character to broaden your knowledge and grasp the situations that you might be in the game. The music and the sound effects go accordingly with the background environment and recreate it that gives you a feeling of your location and what goes around.
Graphic animation only goes as limited to just seeing the background with a steady image with the exception when an element that can be interacted with (i.e. an active character/enemy or object that needs to have actions performed on to enlighten the gamer to take action on it) certain action command is taken like casting a spell or giving use of an item. Other animations can be seen only in the intro and finale of the game and also when travelling between realms.
In short, I believe Death Gate is a fantastic adventure game worth playing since it possesses that satisfactory re-playable quality that we'd love to experience after the game. You won't regret being taken back in time playing this old school game if you're a true adventure game fan.
