Game Review (written by Chrissi) Added on: 02/19/2008
Point and click your way through this next adventure game that has been set in the 1940’s era of novels and movies based around detectives. This game is known as Déjà vu: A Nightmare Comes True.
The game will begin in Chicago in December of 1941 taking place not too long after Pearl Harbor was attacked. You will take on the role of Theodore Harding also known as Ace who was a boxer but retired and became a private eye detective. You will begin the game in a bathroom stall unaware of which you actually are.
You’ve become framed for a murder that took place and it’s now your time to shine. There have been many clues placed around the man that was murdered with some leading back to your identity. The body that has been discovered looks like it went through a fair amount of torture during the process of killing them.
You will soon discover that your boxer knowledge will come in handier then the use of your gun that you’ve been given at the beginning of the game. Even though you have no memory and the city is pretty unsafe for you, you’ll find a way to get around safely in a matter of time. You will find several different addresses around

the bar that you woke up in that you must travel to with the use of a taxi. Soon your memory will start to come back and you’ll remember a kidnapping that you had some influence in.
Included into the game is an antidote that will be used to help with what caused you to have memory loss in the first place. Soon you will begin to have flashbacks that give you helpful information and be on your way to successfully finding well-needed evidence.
This game involves a lot of logical thinking and strategizing before you will have the ability to understand what is going on. If this is your first time playing you will be learning while you play the game, just like your character. The game has been filled with many confusing areas, but the game isn’t too difficult to complete if you follow the trails of information. Take on this next tedious adventure game and discover the true happenings that have occurred in Chicago. It is up to you to get all the needed information to save your own fate of life.
