This game is something I truly fell in love with. From the minute I saw it, I knew this would be a game that would intrigue my very soul. The intense game play seemed to lull me into a sleep out of the real world. The graphics were not the most impressing, but the true heart put into the game play made up for it.
The names were possibly the most intriguing I have ever seen in my life time, one that was particularly lovely was Angoulafre, even though he was a Nuts-o goblin king.
Niak was also a beautiful name in my opinion, although it does not really slip off the tongue, it was an interesting name to try and figure out the smooth pronunciation. Asgard, Ignatius and Oups, each have some odd personalities, to tie along with their different abilities, I loved the name Ignatius particularly, while Asgard was also an interesting one. Oups, simply was too close to “oops” for my liking.
The gameplay was beautifully crafted, although you must combine the abilities of all three goblins to truly continue through the world. Sometimes I could get so into the game, so wrapped up in their world, so far away from my own, real sound, real objects, real sight all were blinded and stolen from me.
The
beginning of the game was slow in my opinion, although once you progressed it all blurred into just one life of game. All twenty-two levels produced this magical veil of challenge and action. Although, on the other hand I found there was a lack of a type of character I would have thought would fit in the game. Goblins are entertaining (as is the name of the game), but I thought maybe a rogue, or a pirate might make the game more entertaining.
Level 19 was my favorite, the bananas entertained me, gave me a smile after being so pressured by the constant playing of level 15, the smile you should have seen on my face!
Level 15, it seemed to drag on. Unusually long after me surpassing several shorter levels, or maybe by then I had simply gotten better at the game, it seemed I had already beat it. Too good for my own good you might even say.
All in all, I love this game and it’s definitely something you should look into buying in the near future.
