This is a really good game. It was written in the 90s and is still a very playable game today. I love the graphics and think it is an amazing game. I was up all night playing it the day that I got it- it is really addictive and compelling. The level of detail to the graphics exceeded my initial expectations for a game as old as this, especially since it is an independent game, and the game is fun to work out.

The sound quality is great and gives the game a very eerie atmosphere. I was always looking over my shoulder, because I got so in to the game-it can really scare you sometimes! There is always something waiting to jump out at
you unexpectedly and make you jump or a piercing scream that scares you half to death.
I personally think that one of the best qualities of the game is the clues that you are given. They are puzzling, but not impossible to work out, so you don’t get annoyed or stuck for hours, but you also don't just sail through with no challenge what so ever.
The basic story line begins with a woman called Dr. Mureta who has accidentally brought an evil presence to a mansion in New Orleans after her pet monkey was bitten. The monkey died, but then came back in form of pure evil. The monkey is burned, but its presence stays in the house causing it to control the minds of people in the house.
Dr. Mureta died after trying to send the 'evil' away and asks for all her research on the creature to be destroyed, so that no one can make the situation worse. However, her daughter tries once. She has gone and summons people to help her to destroy the monkey’s evil spirit. You are the hero who has been asked to rid the house of this problem and restore peace. Many people have tried to rid the house of the monkey before you and died. Will you succeed?
A good aspect of this game is the fact that it can be 'scary' without the usual "Blood, blood and more blood!" It has tasteful and subtle horror and scares, which makes it entertaining, fun and addictive.
I think that this game is worth downloading, because it is everything you need in an adventure game. It has good story line, difficult, but not impossible puzzles, a lot of excitement and it is highly addictive. I recommend it to everyone!
