After a little research you’ll discover that he was apart of a project involved by seven other scientists where they are trying to control people with a remote. Some of the suspects could involve the British Intelligence headmaster, an owner of a surveillance company, and even the daughter may be involved.
The game begins in the West Coast based in the year 2033. There are puzzles throughout
the entire game, but the detective deductions and interaction with other characters seems to be more important than solving the puzzles. There is a far amount of characters that you will be able to have conversations with, but to do so you’ll need to ask questions and even bribe a few if they aren’t cooperating. You may encounter a few fights, but its better to try approaching them in a less diplomatic feel. When you are traveling there is some times the chance you will have to fly. This is where a flight simulation comes in; you’ll be flying a Lotus Speeder yourself.
When you are traveling throughout the game you’ll find between five and ten clues through each scene. The downside about the collection of clues is that they are not copied, you may want to find a way to keep track of the clues, or you’ll soon be backtracking.
The graphical design in this game has been done quite interestingly. There isn’t too much detail put into everything, but enough to be able to recognize what is going on. A lot of the conversation scenes have been put together with a few still frame poses and then added animation between each frame.
Mean Streets is a game where you’ll find yourself getting right into. The game goes into a lot of depth around the suspicious murder, and once you start uncovering clues you’ll want to further along to put everything together and make the final discovery of who did all this. The game isn’t too difficult, once you start playing and discover all the things you are suppose to do, you will find this game to become far simpler.
If you’ve found yourself enjoying adventurous detective games in the past, Mean Streets is a game you may find that you really enjoy. The game has been designed quite well in many aspects. The plot of the entire game goes into such depth it makes up for it. Mean Streets is definitely a phenomenal game!
