Game Review (written by Ttitans10158) Added on: 02/14/2008
I’ve always been a huge fan of the Quest for Glory series. This isn’t the best Quest for Glory game, but it is still lots of fun. The graphics are better than the others, but the story isn’t as good. I really enjoyed playing this game, and I was pleased with the ending also. Overall, if you enjoyed the other Quest for Glory games and have not played this one yet, I highly recommend it.
Fighting is much harder in this game when compared to the first.

Fighting is much harder in this game when compared to the first. In the first all you had to do was press up to stab, but in this game you have to worry about precision and accuracy. There wasn’t as much funny stuff in this one as there was in the first game,

but this Quest for Glory game is much more sophisticated, and attempts to distinguish itself above the rest.
As you can see from screenshots, the graphics have improved greatly when compared to the first game, Quest for Glory: So You Want to Be a Hero. I still prefer the first game, but this one is fun too. I enjoyed getting drunk in the first Quest For Glory: So You Want to Be a Hero game, I enjoyed drinking the Dragon’s Breath and dying, I enjoyed stealing items like the music box, the candelabra, the vase, the candlesticks, the secret safe, the pearl necklace, petting the cat, opening the birdcage, and getting stomped by Otto. I also like fighting trolls at night. I was always good at fighting trolls. The best thing about fighting trolls is they always give you at least twenty-five silvers and you can get two healing potions from their beards too.
I like how when you say something offensive like, “Kiss lady,” or “kill pet cat,” the game says funny phrases like, “Odz Bodkins!” or “Didn’t your mama teach you better than that?” One of my most favorite moments in the game is playing the maze game against Erasmus. Erasmus is a wizard and he’s a really good companion throughout the game. And if you beat him in the game (it’s like a maze that you have to guide an alien creature through), he teaches you a new spell called Erasmus’s Razzle Dazzle.
Overall, you should definitely play this game. You should buy it wherever you can find it and play it hardcore until you beat it, because the ending (I won’t tell you what happens) is worth it!

This game is pretty sweet. I liked all of the Quest for Glorys and this one may be the best.
