Game Review (written by Indypoet7) Added on: 03/26/2007
While playing Space Quest: The Lost Chapter, I fell in love with it instantly. The deja-vu of me being a kid again playing a Space Quest game was awesome. The graphics, of course, are not the best. I was not expecting them to be since the games were created along time ago, but the retro feel was great.
Pixelated graphics are still enjoyable to me. The colors are very good. The sound is not all that great, but once again, I was not expecting it to be.

Pixelated graphics are still enjoyable to me. The colors are very good. The sound is not all that great, but once again, I was not expecting it to be. I thought the game itself was very short. Some of the other Space Quest titles are short, but the overall game was cool. The story was interesting, it reminded me of

a book that I once read when I was a kid and I could not remember the title of it. I do like the fact that the game itself takes place after Space Quest 2 because when I first finished Space Quest 2 I was left wondering what would happen next. I had played all of the King's Quest and Police Quest games to figure out that there had to be a bunch of Space Quest games to come, and I love how Roger defeats Vohaul in the second game. The greatest aspect that they kept in Space Quest lost chapter, is the humor. It did not quite meet it's match in one's later down the road, but it kept it's dedication. If any of the Space Quest games did not have humor at all, I would have probably been very bored.
So, with that said. I don't look for great graphics, great music, or great gameplay. I look for the ridiculous storylines. The story has to intrigue me, and Space Quest the lost Chapter has definitely done that. It's kind of funny, because I had not played a Space Quest game for a very long time.

I came across this game after playing Police Quest for quite some time, and was impressed with the story, which got me into the whole series, which I’m now a huge fan of. Good game with ok graphics

This game follows in the tradition of all the old Space Quest games from Sierra. It has the quirky humor and great puzzles that we all grew up with in the 80's. The story is well written and players should get a kick out of this one. I highly recommend this game for lovers of classic PC games. I enjoyed playing this game very much. It's exciting and does what you want it to do. It doesn't hang at all and is in good condition. For all those game lovers, this is a good game to play, you should really try it. It’s ok. Fun to play.

This game, released in the late 80's maybe even early 90's. It stars a Space Warrior that has crashed on a deserted planet (or so we think). This game is a classic text commanded RPG that is actually sort-of challenging
