Game Review (written by Skittles_ga1986) Added on: 03/25/2008
Duke Nukemi 2 is way better then the first one. It has good graphics, music and sound effects. This game is the sequal to Duke Nukem. Which if you had a computer in the 90's and were a gamer chances are that you played it or know of someone who has. I know I played it and I thought it was cool and that was back when the graphics were not all that good and I was only 12 years old.

I love games where you get to walk around and blow stuff up and kill the bad guys, which is what this game is all about. Everyone should

like this game.
In this game there are eight levels and four bosses. This game has the same gameplay but a lot more weapons to use to kill enemies and make your way to the end. The first Duke Nukem you just had one gun but in this one you have three weapons and they are the laser shot, flame thrower and rocket launcher. The flame thrower can also be used as a jetpack. By using the jetpack you can take short cuts and get through each level faster then just walking. Personally my choice of guns is the flame thrower. You can find all of these weapons by shooting the green boxes.
Health units are important during game play so be care. You can find more health units in the red boxes but be careful as the red boxes also carry napalm bombs too, which can only make it harder to complete each level. You can also get health units as rewards for finding and shooting turkeys. There are also silver boxes that will help you complete each level. There are blue keys, computer boards or cloaking devises. You also can be awarded 1000,000 points for collecting N U K E or M in this order from boxes or you could get a rapid shot power up. The rapid shot allows you to shot many times and do some damage.
