The game brings back the greatest memories. The graphics are good! As for the music you can definitely tell it was supposed to be futuristic eighties type punk rock n’ roll. Overall the game is how I remember it a type of dungeons and dragon role playing game that takes a futuristic overture instead of a mid-evil setting.
You are visiting your grandfathers’ house, to your surprise no one is there not even his dog “spot”. While searching his house you find that he has this contraption in the basement.

You are visiting your grandfathers’ house, to your surprise no one is there not even his dog “spot”. While searching his house you find that he has this contraption in the basement. Because you are such a nosey person you decide to try out the machine. Once the machine is turned on you see what looks like a portal to another world, so
of course you walk right through. Upon coming to your senses you find that you are in a very strange and mystical place. This is where the real fun of Tass Times in Tone Town begins.
You can head into town and go to a place like a fast food joint that sells a version of a hamburger called a “GloBurger”. In town you can purchase items, but it does not take cash it takes guitar picks. You can also search through the outskirts of Tone Town to see what you can find. There are all sorts of interesting creatures out there just waiting to be found. Beware of Chaz he is still a creepy person in my mind and still gave me nightmares, but the psychotics mushrooms, now that’s a classic. In the end your goal is to find your grandpa and his dog “spot”. The Tass time’s newspaper is always an interesting read with hints on where your grandpa is and how to find him, however some of the other stories that are in there are just quite humorous. If you read closely, you may even be able to find "spot" if that’s still his name.
Tass Times in Tone Town is not a very difficult of a game, but well worth the 4 hours to beat it again. If you are looking for a slight thinking game with some really weird characters and twists this would definitely be the game for you. Just make sure not too eat the mushrooms or you may have a desire for some "GloBurgers".
This game is fantastic and exciting! You have to play it! I recommend it to everybody, you don’t pity!
