Tass Times in Tonetown was a very interesting game. Compared to the games created today, it is very old and made before my time, but is still an amazing game. The music in the game had a sort of rock and roll tune to it and was pretty catchy.
This game starts off in your grandfather’s house which you decide to visit one day, and because you’re curious just like anyone else would be you decide to search his house for anything interesting.
Eventually, you come upon a sort of machine. You turn it on, and are then instantly teleported to some sort of other world that is totally strange and new to you and far away from our planet that's probably never been discovered before. Once you’ve seen your whereabouts, you decide to wander in the town, and you come across many different places just like you’d see in any other town. You discover and come across places such as a fast food place that sells obviously different sorts of fast food globurgers. You can search the outskirts of the town as well and find different types of creatures both scary and cute, and you can purchase many different types of items.
The whole
idea and goal of this game isn't just discovering this new setting that you have come across, the whole point of this game is to find your missing grandfather and cute little sidekick dog Spot.
While you’re searching the city, you will find different clues and hints of the whereabouts of your dear old grandfather and his dog spot are like in the Tass Times daily newspaper.
In Tass Times in Tonetown you have to be very observant, patient, and take every itsy bitsy tiny thing into consideration as a clue to reveal where your grandfather is.
