In this review I aim to give a brief description of the game "Prince of Persia", having played this game many of times, I really got a feeling for the game and I would encourage anyone, who is any age or gender to play it. Just like the first flight simulators the game has basic graphics but they are very smooth. This leads to great gameplay. I would never normally play the prince of persia because its not the normal genre I would go for, I often go for the racing genre.
But one of my friends who is also interested in vintage games told me "its the best game he had played in a while so naturally I went out and bought it . I found it quite hard to get my hands on at first but I managed to get it eventually. When I loaded the game my initial reaction was "I new I should have kept to the racing car game genre" but I played it for a while and realized it wasn’t so bad, after around 15 minutes I really started to enjoy the game wizzing through the levels killing the evil warriors.
The main thing that struck me about the game was the level of playabilty I sat playing
it for 4 hours. I’m surprised I didn’t get a case of deep vain thrombosis! In some levels you switch to the prince and the good side of you really shines out, and in my opinion this is the best part of the game, but in other parts you become the evil one. And you become the evil one, I think that this part of the game is not that great, because the level of playabilty starts to decrease. I soon became frustrated with the game and became annoyed with it. I think this was because it started to become a little bit far fetched from real life.
Overall I really enjoyed this game and will continue to enjoy this game for many years to come and I’m sure I will encourage my sons to play this game.
So, for anyone I would say that this game is an absolute must for your cabinet, because of the excellent game play, the sometimes annoying game play and just the overall level of outrageous fun, you can achieve by being both evil and good. I still continue to play this game with my friends family and children and I hope that many more fanatical gameplayers just like me and my friends continue to buy the game and thoroughly enjoy for as long, as the possibly can!
