In the game you will play the role of a command ship officer who is assigned deep in outer space. You receive a warning from your system and almost immediately you hear gun fire and the sounds of aliens. You get ready to fight it out with whatever has intruded your ship and then you suddenly come face to face with aliens who are out to kill you. You have to go through the different parts of the space station with only one goal in mind to survive.
As you go through the game, there are a number of weapons that you can purchase to give your character an edge over its alien enemies. Aside from weapons, you can also get ammunitions and life energies. As you go through the game the aliens become harder to beat. Aside from aliens, you are faced with other challenges that restrict your movement through the space station. These challenges include locked doors and others.
Alien Breed can be played by one or two players and can provide massive enjoyment even for single players. The AI gives good competition so you get enough challenge even when playing the game alone.
The graphics of the game were among the best when it was released in the early 90s. The sound effects are also good. The game play may not be entirely original but the game is well made so gamers of all ages will definitely have a great time with this game.
