All Point Bulletin is an excellent action arcade game. With attractive graphics, brilliant audio, and of course original and addictive gameplay, this is one game that's well worth playing.
In the game, you play a police man. You have to chase speed offenders, pursue dangerous criminals, and best of all, you even get to ram some of them off the road. There are plenty of people in All Point Bulletin that have to be dealt with. The game is fairly easy to begin with, and involves you chasing after the average traffic violator and such.
All you have to do here is pursue them until they pull over. After you give them a ticket, you're on your way again, ready to take on the next offender. This can get tedious after a while, but it's not long before things start to heat up. Before you know it, you'll be chasing carjackers, speeders, and other dangerous villains - all in high speed pursuits. This is when the game gets really interesting. Here, you'll scream through congested roads, carefully avoiding other vehicles, in order to catch whoever you're after. It's incredibly fun to play and very visually pleasing to watch your police car run down the road, maneuvering between other cars. When you do manage to catch up
with the bad guys - provided you don't crash or lose them - there's a great sense of achievement to be had. When you've arrested one criminal, it's time to move on to arresting the next, usually in a chase that's even more intense and faster than the last. The gameplay is just a load of fun.
All in all, All Point Bulletin is a superb game. The graphics are still looking good today, with plenty of realistic and colorful textures. The audio is very appealing too, although it can be slightly muffled from time to time. But most impressive is the gameplay that still pleases today, nearly 20 years after its release. It's a very original and one-of-a-kind game, and there's nothing that rivals it today. It can be repetitive sometimes, but the game's so addictive and absorbing that you aren't likely to notice. There's enough gameplay here to keep even the most demanding of gamers busy all month. It's a classic arcade game that's unquestionably one of the best of it's time, and it's also much better than some of the other games around these days. Go play it.
