Game Review 1 (written by Kashira) Added on: 11/27/2007
This might be an old game given the cheesy graphics and outdated colors, but I happily wasted a lot of time playing it when I was first introduced to it years ago. There are only three levels to play, but each time you finish a round you get to start all over again, but at an increased rate than before. As things begin to speed up, it’s up to you to pay attention or die trying. You wouldn’t believe the number of times I cried out when something that should not have hit me, or should not have got in my way did.

You have got to be very quick

and keep your eyes glued to the screen. If any of you have ever played Gorf, and its four levels, you can easily appreciate the repeat value in terms of speed play.
If you have a thing about the 8 bit like colors then you might not enjoy playing this game. It is old and it was the kind of game that could be run on dinosaur computers – anyone remember 386 models? This is way before Pentium and GIGS and the whole idea that games could be 3-D like! The sounds are great!
I will give you a little more description over the game play. You get to play as a little black cat who must get through the first level by having to avoid getting chomped on by the evil, psychotic dog or being hit over the head with flying bottles from the apartment buildings. The second level is rather random - it can involve trying to get a bird or trying to catch mice that hide inside of a huge slab of Swiss cheese. Actually, this was my favorite part of the game since you had to try to get inside the holes at the right time the mice were peeking out of them to catch them. The last part is mostly trying to get to the cat at the top of the screen without being shot at.
If you have time to kill and want to test yourself against an old game like this, give Alley Cat a try. It’s cute and fun. Best thing to do is to challenge your friends and see just who can out do the other. I recommend downloading this game!

Game Review 2 (written by Millerguts) Added on: 02/14/2007
An all time classic. Though simple in concept, but extremely game! The first challenge is to avoid getting bitten by a dog by jumping on top of garbage bins, walk along the fence, jump onto clothes line, and eventually through an open window.
Once you managed to get through a window, depending on the scenario, you may be required to jump onto a table to knock a bird cage over and catch the bird. Once you achieve this objective, you're onto the third challenge.
Here, you have to avoid getting shot by Cupids' arrows, and make you way to the top of the screen, where a feline is waiting. Once you make contact, you will be graded on how quickly you've managed to get to the top. Once completed, you'll return to the Alley and start again, only this time, the game becomes more challenging.
It’s wonderful and gets terribly addictive game! It has good story line and graphics! I highly recommend it!

You're a cat and you have to do the usual "cat things" to survive and get the female feline. Eat fish out of the fish bowl, catch mice, and steal milk from sleeping dogs are some of the things you have to do to survive in this surreal masterpiece from Bill Williams.
