Basically this game is a clone of the video game Arkanoid, a highly iconic game that was released in the eighties. The game is actually a standard ball and bat game that will have you hitting blocks on the screen. Of course these types of games were really developed from the original Pong game from Atari.
You just use the mouse to control the “bat” a small platform that you can move from left to right so that the ball has something to bounce on to hit the blocks/ bricks on the screen.

Aquanoid is one of the most addictive games I have ever played and it is also a game that has very high replay value. It’s impossible to have the same experience every time you play the game.
The game becomes tougher as you progress through the levels but there are also items that will help make the game a little bit easier and also more fun. The special items include: a gun which you can use to shoot the bricks to break them, multiple balls which allows you to break more bricks and others.
The graphics are colorful. The graphics are not entirely impressive but considering the simple game play, there’s really no need for flashy graphics to achieve the goal of the game.
This is a fantastic classic game that you can keep in your hard drive and continue to play even when you reach old age. The rules and the controls are so simple. You can just play it mindlessly for hours.
If you have other classic bat and ball games in your PC then there really is no need to get a copy of this game. These games are essentially the same and one game can’t get any more exciting than the other. BUT if you have no copies of any of this type of game such as Break Out, Arkanoid and others then this is a fantastic version that you shouldn’t miss.
