B-Hunter

PC
Genre:  Arcade    |     Year: 2000    |     Publisher: Midas Interactive Entertainment     |     Developer: InterActive Vision A/S
Game Review (written by Eric) Added on: 03/17/2008
B-Hunter is an arcade game that was created by InterActive Vision A/S. The game is very straightforward shooter game that is set in a sci-fi world. The game is pretty simple and your goal is to just shoot at the enemies and make sure you take them down first before they hit you with their own weapons.

You will play the role of a bounty hunter who has to go after different criminals. Your goal is to catch the biggest criminal of all at the end of the game.
You are free to attack and bring in anyone who is most likely a criminal. There are different rewards for every criminal. Petty criminals are of course worth less than big criminals. Your goal is to earn as much money from turning in these cretins as you can and use it wisely to continue to advance towards the big crime boss at the end. All the money that you earn can be used to upgrade your vehicle.

If you cause damage on the wrong target then you will be penalized. If you cannot pay for the penalty, then you’ll be considered an outlaw yourself. A bounty will also be issued for your arrest, putting you on the other end of the stick.

are ten different weapons that will become available for you in the game. The weapons include a lead buster, an ion gun, a chain gun, a TNT mine, a plasma gun, stun ray, missile, sonic blast, nitro crackers and a bomb. The weapons have different attributes. Your vehicle has two slots wherein you can attach the weapons that you intend to use.

The best feature of the game is its graphics. They are very crisp and well done and do stand ground against more modern games, but it is still a game from the nineties, so don't expect PS3 cinema graphics. The game is fast-paced, exciting and really, really fun. The game also has a non-linear plot that makes the game more interesting and raises the game’s replay value.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone. With a good mix of shooter and action, the game has become a truly enjoyable game for all types of gamers. Overall the game is just simple and enjoyable that you won’t think of it as a waste of time. You can download this game and keep it in your hard drive for days when you just want a straight, fun shooters game.
