Barrage really reflects the name of the game. Imagine a barrage of soldiers and tanks moving across the battlefield at different speeds and your cannon has to figure out how to destroy them all.
Each cannon shot has to be strategically aimed ahead of the tanks to destroy them before the make it across the screen. Some tanks move fast and some move slowly. You will also get a chance to take out small platoons of soldiers as they march along.
Your goal is to destroy as many as possible in a limited amount of time. The cannon has a limited supply of shells but you can reload as many times as possible.
Barrage consists of the standard 256 color scheme and utilizes most of the earth tones appropriately.
The battlefield begins as rolling dirt hills and quickly turns into large craters of rubble and blood. Each shell that hits the dirt leave a large dark hole in the earth and every soldier that becomes cannon fodder explodes into a bloody mess. There will be a barrage of cannon explosions and feint screams of pain while the massacre continues.
The use of gravity & physics will determine whether
each shell meets its destination. Think quickly because reaction time is crucial.
All in all, nice little game. Worth a try.
