Battle Arena Toshinden was one of the first fighting games to come out that was 3D. The graphical detail that has been put into this game is over the top for the years of creation. The background and the characters have a lot of detail done to them giving this game a great appeal visually. Even the animation that occurs in this game is good and doesn’t look horrible.
The level of difficulty in this game can get quite difficult depending on your experience and your opponent. Each character varies in level of difficulty making it a bit challenging throughout. You are able to attempt each character a few times so if you are unable to beat him the first time just try again. Once you figure your characters moves and weapons the game will become far easier, especially when you learn those cheap moves that make the opponent unable to get a single hit on you. With the game being able to be played in multiplayer mode it gives you the benefit of practicing on your friends while still having a bit of competition. Once you’ve gone through and completed the game with one character its time to go and try it with one of the others. Every time you play you will have a different experience.
