Bumpy's Arcade Fantasy is an interesting, if somewhat redundant, classic arcade - style game. In the game, you play the part of a small and bouncy ball that makes its way through different scenarios in the game. It is almost reminiscent of games such as Prince of Persia (the original, with the crappy graphics) in that you must find your way across, over, under, and through various obstacles. Of course, you can also collect various items along the way. In the beginning levels, the obstacles are almost embarrassingly easy to get around.

As the game progresses to further levels, they begin to get a little bit more difficult. If you can make it past the several "easier" levels, it becomes . . . well, nearly impossible.
The concept of the game is as entertaining as any redundant and repetitive puzzle game is. It draws many parallels to the game "Marble Madness" (for those of you who are familiar with this game). It isn't too incredibly engaging to the mind, so if you are the type of person that really enjoys a puzzle, you may be disappointed. Neither is the game altogether exciting - sorry boys, there is no blood, gore, nudity, or any major explosions (or minor explosions) in this game. This is the kind of time filler that is just good for those of us who are bored and don't want to commit ourselves to a more engaging game. For the first half hour or so, it is entertaining enough. However, it doesn't hold the variety or the addictiveness that keeps people glued to the screen for hours (like some games do).
The graphics are as well as they might be, for a game that only gets as complicated as a ball bouncing around. They are definitely not state-of-the-art, but I don't want to completely discredit them either. The background scenery is generally, boring, to be frank -- but if you are paying too much attention to the background then you have probably already gotten to the point where you are bored. Basically, the graphics are only as complicated as they need to be; they are not over-the-top, but they're not completely arcane.
In conclusion, Bumpy's Arcade Fantasy is a simple and briefly entertaining game. It's worth breaking open your wallet for and it serves the purpose if all you want is time filler.
